Day 2 #TOR16: Sparks and Sprints!

Folks, day one was an awesome kick-off to the Google for Education Certified Innovator Program, it is hard to image it getting better than that! Well, it did!  It was a mixture of sparks and sprints!  Sparks essentially "sparked" energy, creativity and enthusiasm into our learning!  The sprints was essentially the time set aside for working on the design of our project essentially driving us to consider the possibilities by the question: "How might we...?"
Folks, they say that time flies when you are having fun, and we essentially started at 8:30 in the morning and with a couple of breaks found ourselves at 7 p.m.! To use a "Treky" term, we teleported through the day it was so much fun!  And yet, it didn't stop there.  Google was so interested in the fact that this group of passionate educators would work so hard and for so long that we were treated to a back massage, magician, caricature artist and an incredible dinner to boot!  Not only is this the most comprehensive, useful and forward thinking PD in which I've ever partaken, but there is this as sense of mutual respect that I have not felt in a while!

Enjoy the following pictorial evidence of day two. I suppose that this also foreshadows the brilliance of what tomorrow holds as well!

My project in progress!

The Canadian representation!

The "proud professeur"!

The coach!

Off to rest for the final hurrah!
