Inspiration for the Coach!

Folks, in the last post I reflected upon the start up of the school year and the pre-season MRMFL podcast was also unveiled.  Well, the academic engagement is still on the upswing and here is the week 1 results of the MRMFL: .  But now that the students are achieving in the class and on the gridiron, it is now time for the coach to pursue some pedagogical successes of his own.  What does that mean?  Check it out!

Coach Morrison was accepted to the Google for Education Certified Innovator course in Toronto this year!  I was only 1 of 35 accepted.  It is obviously an honour to have been selected from 100's of applicants, and it is now time for the boot camp to start off the year long journey of online learning! This evening, was the kick-off to this kick off so to speak and I am overwhelmed with enthusiasm.  Since April of 2015, my first GAFE summit with the EdTech Team, I have been inspired and have somewhat transformed my teaching practice.  This group of innovative educators who have become and incredible online Professional learning Network (PLN), inspire me to push the limits of how we deliver educational opportunities to students!  Being with this group is simply incredible!  Check out the photo evidence below to see how coach has fit in well and has made some new friends!
Crazy Canucks who did an amazing welcome to the foreign guests!

Fantastic group known as DP and the Timbits!

Required selfie!

I am looking forward to the next two days of "Professional Development| unrivaled by anything else out there! It's time for the coach ... to be coached!
